Description

The Ventolin Inhaler is usually taken every 4 to 6 hours. Patients using the treatment to prevent bronchospasms caused by exercising should take the medication 15 to 30 minutes before exercising. Prior to the initial dose or if the device has not been used in 14 days, the inhaler will need to be primed before using. To prime the inhaler, point the nozzle away from the face and apply 4 test sprays into the air. Follow the doctor’s orders to correctly administer the medication. For patients that require more than 1 spray each time, it is recommended to wait 1 minute between doses.
